COMMUNITY

At PUP Films, our mission goes beyond making movies, we are building a safe, creative, and uplifting community that inspires the next generation of storytellers.

We are committed to working with BIPOC youth, and specifically Indigenous youth, helping them find pathways into the film industry. Whether someone wants to pursue a career or simply explore creativity, we believe everyone deserves the chance to dream and to be supported in making those dreams real.

Our approach is hands-on: we don’t just encourage, we provide opportunities. By offering training, mentorship, and real on-set experience, we give young people their first professional credits and create a foundation for lasting careers.

We also aim to build a collaborative team, a community of filmmakers who grow together, uplift one another, and represent diverse voices. For us, it’s about more than film: it’s about creating a space where people feel included, inspired, and empowered.

Our goal is simple: to open doors, nurture creativity, and show that filmmaking is for everyone.
